Terms

What signing means.

Plain terms for using this website and for signing the pledge.

The pledge is a voluntary commitment

Signing the Transparent Hiring Pledge is a public, voluntary statement of intent. It is not a certification, an audit, or a legal guarantee. We do not verify that a signing organization follows each commitment, and a listing in the directory is not an endorsement of the organization.

Signing for an organization

By signing, you confirm you are authorized to commit your organization to the practices described in the pledge in detail, and that the information you give us is accurate. We may decline a submission, and we may remove an organization from the directory if the information proves inaccurate or the organization asks to be removed.

Who runs this site

The Transparent Hiring Pledge is an initiative of the Job Seeker’s Union, an advocacy organization. It is not a labor organization under the National Labor Relations Act, does not engage in collective bargaining, and does not represent employees in dealings with employers. It has no dues and no formal membership.
